Guided Wilderness Hike - 3 hours
We follow tracks from elk, roedeer, fox, lynx and wolf. We hike through woods rich of forest birds such as black grouse and capercaillie and pass their traditional courting grounds on our way to the small forest tarn where we eat our picknick. On the way back we walk through the old growth forest, where the owls and the goshawks are nesting.

Capercaillie / Black Grouse Lek

Experience a spectacular forest drama at close distance. During a few weeks in springtime the battles of the hens are taking place. You will spend the night in a hide for one or two persons. The price includes dinner and breakfast to bring along. If you prefer to stay several nights you will spend the day at Ulvsbomuren with lunch and possibilities for a shower and a couple of hours sleep.

In our surroundings you will find a variety of birds like the golden eagle and white tailed eagle together with owls, woodpeckers and forrest birds. There are also a variety of mammals like lynx, wolf, fox, wild boar, badger, elk, roedeer and red deer.

Try our sauna or take a bath below the stars in the wooden hot tub. Relax on the large wooden deck overlooking the fields. Enjoy the atmosphere and the silence.

Guided Beaversafari – 4 hours
After just a short walk we reach the beaverhut. You will spend a couple of hours in a hide for one or two persons with a great opportunity to watch these fantastic animals at close distanse. The price includes a picknick to bring along.

Canoeing – 6 hours
You will be paddling on the calm and winding Black River, passing through forests and a rural landscape with a fantastic birdlife. Half-day excursion with a picknick to bringa long.
